Many people complaining about slow fotki, but here's a couple of tips to using it more time efficiently.

1) The slowest loading pages are the thumbs pages. Use a browser with tabbed browsing, and open the pics in seperate tabs. This way you don't have to keep going back to the slow loading thumbs pages.

2) Use the slide show option on albums located near the top of the thumbs page. This way you get a filmstrip style page that loads a little quicker than using the standard format.

the slowest part is when it has to download ALL the album names on the left side of the page

It`s good to know I`m not the only person having problems with Fotki.

I click a Fotki link for caps & it takes atleast 5 minutes to load photos.

I don't think you can. This isn't much different then imageshack or imagevenue though. If you do like I suggested and open each pic in seperate tabs it should save you time. The pics usually are just as fast as any other image host. It's the darn thumbs page that takes forever to load.
