Forum Split Suggestion!

Everyone:

This is the most popular forum in all of WWoW! I hate to continuously prune this forum because it has gotten too large. The reason why prunes happen is to reduce the database size and allow posts to load faster. With this forum having the most posts consistently, posts are deleted quicker.

To ease the pruning after discussion, the mods/admins decided the following....

1. FNC and CNN babes would have their own individual forums.

2. Additional forums can be created (if neccessary) after the FNC and CNN forums have been created.

This would make for finding any given newsbabe easier. So would there need to be three sections for newsbabes, one for FOX, one for CNN, and one for Other?

I absolutely agree with this idea. As TJ said, this would make it much easier to find specific women. So, I voted yes :mrgreen:

We could start requiring when cap posts are made that the full name of the person is in the title so searching for a particular person would be easier.

At this time it probably would be a "MSNBC & Others" forum. I don't think there is enough capping of MSNBC alone to warrent it's own forum.

At this time it probably would be a "MSNBC & Others" forum. I don't think there is enough capping of MSNBC alone to warrent it's own forum.

We have to see how many posts are left of the other newsbabes before we decide on any other forums. :Kool

We could take this a little further and regionalise the "general" forum (West, East etc.) - whatever, I'm for it.

I'm surprised that you need to continually prune the boards, as I've been on other php boards that are much larger.
