Are you possibly thinking of Kate Wentzel who was on KEYT (ABC affiliate in Santa Barbara) then 2/9 before going back to West Palm Beach?

I seem to remember reading that Gretchen Carr was at a station in SLC, Utah...anyone else heard this??

That's one name that research on doesn't turn up any current activities. Looks like she's out of the business. I think she has a young child (about 4).
