Good advice (in my opinion and experience anyway).
I only download all new versions of software on one PC only - and that is my PC that runs Vista. And as much as I love Firefox, I can see that Version 3.0 is going to take some getting used to.
I do prefer Version 2 as of right now, but change is difficult for most in every area of life, not just software.
That said I still stand by my first post (and really agree with every single word of
flaming_cowpie's post) in saying that the add-ons and extensions are unmatched by any other browser.
Case in point...
Today I got a virus while using IE. Now, my Anti-virus software caught it immediately, but I opened the same page in Firefox and it blocked it instantly.
I just cannot say enough about the browser.
(P.S. It was actually FC who brought
IE Tab to my attention. Why I chose to open up IE outside of Firefox when I have that add-on is beyond me)
