Interesting thing is Evia was the very first contestant from the USSR in 1990 to enter the Miss Universe contest (she was a Nurse!) and came in 16th! Miss Norway won that year and Miss USA came in 2nd. pickle Clark hosted the show (looks like Leeza Gibbons co-hosted) and there is a video on you tube of the final 3 contestants and the winner being crowned....

BTW ... she's there in the background, but they dont show her close enough so you'd recognize her..her name back then was Evia Stalbovska.
