The quality looks very good but it would be easier for me to tell if it was the full image.

If you don't mind me asking, what tuner did you get and are the caps from an SD or HD broadcast?

hauppauge "WinTv HVR 1850"

All pics I get will be HD version...like these:

note:
My TV company doesn't have full HD service. The HD I do get is from free over-the-air local stations.
