Ok - So now I have a HP 2509m LCD monitor that is HDCP capable.
However, whenever I do a cap from Direct2tv I just get a black image.
How do I capture an actual image?
I have tried Hypersnap (I own it).
I have also tried Gadwin PrintScreen - still getting a black image.
- - -> I have 4 monitors (3 non-hdcp) When I try and capture the primary screen (the HP) Gadwin always captures the last screen I clicked on - which I have to do to get rid of the progress bar.
1. How can I capture an image that is not all black using Directv2pc?
2. Any advice on always capturing a certain monitor no matter which one has the focus?
Thanks
Hypersnap usually grabs everything, but I believe if you're using hardware acceleration, it may not grab it from video. I use Hypersnap successfully with DirecTV2PC.... there might be a hardware acceleration disable in the capture options of the hypersnap software, or in the driver for your card.
Try it with one Monitor on in your set up, or updating your graphics card drivers.
