Yeah, it's the new player for me. Playing the files on VLC is choppy. I have to play it at .50x. Also the counter doesn't always run correctly.

I used VLC. Though the playback wasn't noticeably choppy for me, the stream heading was screwing up the seek time. The cti stayed or flickered around the 00:00:00 time mark for about half of the clip before registering what I think was the correct time indicator.

If you have VideoReDo, sometimes running the QuickStream Fix tool will actually fix this for you quite nicely. It saved me quite a few recordings in the past. The tool works best with SD files (at least for me, so far).

One more idea, too, in case you don't already do this, but defrag the hard drive more often if you are using it to record video. That seemed to help eliminate most of my seek issues with recordings.

Okay. Thank you. Yeah, when I play it directly(before splitting) from the disc it seems to work a bit better. But yeah the seek time is iffy. I'll get that VideoReDo. I don't know why it is doing it with the discs from the new player and not the old player.
