Odd. Shannon seems to be trying to dress more attractively tonight. Hair down, white turtleneck, tight-ish jeans and black leather upper calf high boots. Usually she is wearing that dumpy 2-sizes-too-big stuff.

Yeah I caught that too. Shannon dressing anywhere near sexy or hip is a total shock. I mean even casual jeans is sexy for her!
Shannon is and always was a good looking woman. It's her wardrobe that is horrible. That is suprising since she works for a company that is pretty hip and up-to-date when it comes to fashion and fashion designers as regular guests. I remember seeing a very old photo of Shannon in a skirt and she has great legs. Why she covers them up we will never know.

IMHO, Shannon is 1) a wife and mom (correct me if I'm wrong), and 2) wants to put the focus on selling the merchandise and not on her, which is why she "hasn't worn a skirt on air in years" according to one of her quotes.

Or...3) varicose veins? (Jus' kidding)

Not to stray too far off topic, but #2 is probably why LaLisa always rocks the flared jeans every time she's on PMStyle.

That being said, I still catch myself watching her show most everytime she's on. Something captivating about her, I guess.

Having said THAT...if she is trying to shake her on-screen image w/o wearing a skirt, HSN DOES sell a nice variety of leggings and capris...jus' sayin'.

(BTW, Lisa, QVC sells leggings, too... )

Shannon does herself a great disservice. I bet she is awesome in a little black dress. Oh how we need to get confirmation of that.

I'm glad someone started this discussion, because i have always wondered about her. I also believe she is very pretty and have spent many a show wondering what her legs look like. I think many years ago on here I saw a picture (it was an old one) of her in a skirt and I was amazed how sexy her legs were. I figured she covered them up now because of some defect or something. She really ought to try to look sexy......so what if she's a mom and wife.

IMO that line about wanting the viewer to focus on the merchandise and not her is BULL. All of our other favorite sexy ladies dont adhere to that philosophy, and HSN, QVC, or shopNBC won't try to make them. The shopping channels, and the hosts know that guys like me watch the channels when the host is dressed sexy. I'm sure if they (exes) had their way, all of the female hosts would be dressed like 'Fox News ladies' and be sitting or standing putting their legs and breasts on display (tastefully of course).

I think she is just shy about showing and that's why her outfits had been bland and dumpy, but I am glad she has decided to get a little sexier. Maybe by the summer we will see her legs (a guy can only wish)....

It may be my imagination but it seems when Shannon starts dressing better is around the same time she lightens her hair. Last time she did that she was wearing hotter clothing.

I'm 99.99% sure that sundemon posted a few caps from years and years ago from an appearance she made on America's Store in a dress, but this is the only one I can find in my archives. I could swear he posted a few more, but I can't remember.

I noticed the change in her appearance last night as well.
She was in form fitting pants, instead of the usual very wide ones, and surprisingly wearing black heels.
Usually she would wear those unattractive black flat shoes.
Tonight it's jeans and boots.

I can tell you why she looked nice the past 2 evenings. I'm convinced that she's either dating or has a thing for the Electronics rep John Eastman. Every time she's on with him, without fail she wears sexy shoes and tighter fitting clothing. It's like clockwork.

I think that picture of shannon was before she was her married...got married then got heavy....I don't think she is married now( no wedding band on finger for a long time) and she has lost a lot of weight...I have never heard her talk about any children of her's...husband must of not wanted her to show very much...free woman, less weight, giving it up for the guys I hope!!!!!
