...this is a sad post indeed. And derogatory. Just recently I was warned about simply stating a certain weathergirl wasnt too bright (due to improper English), guess rules have changed. Ive watched Kelly since her WRNN days in the Hudson Valley of NY(over 20 yrs I believe) and followed her career. She was a local girl who did real well, has a wonderful family, and now I read this....this is sad. I guess the 16 yr olds have infiltrated. :evil:

Sorry if I offended. It was a joke. I guess I'll leave the comedy to the comedians. One does have to watch what they say concerning double entrende' like that. It happens on TV more than one would think. I have always been complimentary to the professionals on The Weather Channel. But I guess you wouldn't know that being on the board all of 57 days. I infiltrated this board alot earlier than you did. this is sad. I guess the jerks have infiltrated. Lighten up Francis...

But if making fun of those moments is childish, then we're not alone here doing it.
How else do you explain all of the "news blooper" shows over the years? Double-entendres are a majority of them, mostly sexual in nature.

Just last week, for example, on The Daily Show, Jon Stewart used 2 different
CNN clips with the same situation. Brooke Baldwin was doing a story on the new announcement of 3-D X rated movie technology, and she said it must be like "getting it from all sides"... Then the next night, they used a clip of Richard Quest in London talking about people camping out to view the royal wedding, and he comments: "...there's somebody over there right now pitching a tent."

* I may even have both clips, & was thinking of posting them.

And how about Matt Lauer cracking up when Jean Chatzky said that "Package size matters" in a consumer segment?

Bravo Bravo.....Nothing was said bad it is just "Silly and funny" we all do it and me being a little older than 16, thinks it is quite funny. Can only imagine Kelly's face after she realised what she said...pmsl btw
