Robin tweeted that she was on vacation when she heard the news about Bin Laden, but she cut it short to come in and report today. Being that Robin's first day at Headline News was on 9/11/01, it's perhaps understandable. And perhaps it's the short notice that has Robin out of her normal Monday black.

I think Robin decided not to wear black, cause she didn't want to look like she was mourning Bin Laden's death, but that's my guess.

I was actually thinking the same thing after a while. Perhaps at the same time she also didn't want to wear any red, white and blue as to appear overbearing in some eyes. A neutral gray would make a good choice in that case.
