the new hosts seem to be circumventing QVC's "don't ask/don't tell" policy re their air shifts via facebook - we'll see how long that lasts.
Since Lisa got a fb page in January she has posted all of times she would be on, at least 2-3 hours before she was on. There was one hour that didn't get posted and that was right after she started the page, she was on for 3 hours instead of 2 hours... she filled in for a host that called off after she had posted her shift for the night. There has been several times after PM Style someone would ask when she was going to be on next, that she would say when she would be on next.
that's amazing, amazing, amazing, considering that she was the one who got the sked taken off the QVC site in the 1st place.
Do you have proof that she is the one that got their schedules taken off line?
If she was the one that got their schedules off the site, why do they list her's and many of the other hosts name in the show title and have it listed in the program guide 4 weeks in advance ?(:example Shawn Says, "Accessorize!" Friday, January 27, 2012 02:00 - 03:00 PM ET) Why do they issue press releases about a "Special Event" show and name the host, many times with her being the one hosting the show, a couple weeks or months in advance? Why do several of the hosts when their shift is up, announce when they will be on next?
Depending on who you ask, the host security is one of the many excuses they have for not listing who the host will be anymore. I have seen on "PM Style" chat Amy being asked why they don't list them, and her say one reason this week and other the next. QVC doesn't nor never have listed their home addresses, but yet one of the idiot stalkers showed up at one of the hosts home. If someone is crazy enough to stalk someone, them not listing their schedules on-air will not prevent them from stalking. Ask David Letterman, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Theresa Saldana, etc... about stalkers.
The reason QVC doesn't list who will be hosting the is simple. They want customers to watch all the shows not just the ones that a host they like is on. Which show would you be more likely to watch, one that you knew a host you liked was on or one that you didn't was on?
