Whatever happened to this and other Fox threads? Did someone just stop capping or is there another reason we are missing the lovely ladies of Fox?

Complaints about SD/HD caps

HUH? Who's complaining? SD or HD, I don't care! Has the fanboy mentality (" if's it's not perfect, epic fail") now reared its head here as well? I sure hope not!

People complained to cody that his caps weren't in HD... so he left...

So he's gone for good?

COME BACK, CODY! It sounds like the fanboy mentality has indeed seeped through. Don't let the little whiners get you down! Us MEN love your caps in ANY definition!

I don't think cody will be back
He told me there are several reasons he left the board, but he said he was tired of people complaining his caps weren't HD
And if you didn't see the complaints, you weren't paying attention
Some small-minded people drove a good man away

I guess I didn't see those complaints, maybe someone should send him a PM and hopefully he signs in and sees that he's wanted.

His SD caps were of pretty good quality, and this is coming from someone who caps in HD.

Cody capped a lot and probably burned out as well, but what got me is that for a while he would delete his caps after a few weeks in older threads. So a lot of dead links out there. I get why Cody left though and it makes sense. He must have felt insulted.

I didn't know that happened. That is a shame, Cody was one of the top cappers on this site. He worked his you know what off to provide those caps nonstop for years.

The complaining about SD/HD is juvenile and ridiculous, those complaining need to keep in mind that 4 years ago 99% of the content on this site was in SD.

Wow,I didn't know cody left for that reason. I thought he left because he had to take care of some personal business. Either way,it's a loss. cody was a great capper. I'm honored to continue his Gretchen thread. Hopefully he'll come back one day.

I must not have been. I made sure to thank him in every thread even on days when other cappers would post the same ladies as him in HD I would still post and thank him in his threads.

I sure do miss his Martha caps since nobody else seems to want to cap her. Thankfully IceMan and NickA come up big with the videos!

I can see getting mad and leaving but if you enjoy doing it I hope he'd return. I assumed someone else would cap Jamie Colby or some of the other girls. I am sure he'd get an HD cam sooner than later if he kept on capping.

Strictly speaking, a camera has nothing to do with it, if he was going to do it the traditional way.
It's that he would need to be getting the HD version of the channels, and creating the files from that signal with software.

The only way a camera is ever involved is when you take a picture of the TV screen, which only turns out well
under the best conditions -- an HD TV, a very good camera, using a tripod or mount, etc. And even then not going to be
quite as good as a direct signal capture.

I don't have HD on all channels myself, so I understand what cody dealt with.
The complaints never made any sense to me -- suppose someone caps something in SD, and not even anyone with
HD got it that day....does that mean it would've been better to get nothing at all?

This is no different than many other boards....some idiots get greedy about how THEY want things and if it's not their way, it's crap...instead of being grateful for someone doing alot of work to cap and post, like Cody. Who cares if it's in HD or not...get over yourselves, whoever was complaining. Losing Cody was huge, he did great work and did it often. I know that I was appreciative of his work. I never complained because I was happy he was doing it. So to those ignoramuses who drove Cody away, nice job. It's because of YOU that boards like this lose great people.

Well if these ppl dont like Cody's caps then where are theirs?
