is it just me or does the today show kinda suck????? only thing i look twards is natmo and even that has kinda lost it's thing

or should it be the ann curry curse to the show????

It DOES suck these days. Amazingly, the "powers that be" have decided to make Today a promotional show for their "sister" networks, E! and TLC. Now we get Seacrest interviewing Bieber, constant shilling for the Kardashians, the Duggars with their 19 kids, etc. Even worse, they fly in anyone who posts a dumb-ass YouTube video for an "exclusive" (they LOVE that word) interview. It's vacuous, and Ann Curry must feel glad that she's not involved anymore.

I do like NatMo's new bangs, but I'm not sure that's enough.

Absolutely agree. I find myself watching GMA much more now in the 7-9 hours (hope Robin comes back soon) and catching TS mainly in the 9 o'clock hour, mostly for NatMo and Tamron when she's on. Savannah is oddly stiff since becoming co-host, and only wears grown-up heels when Lauer isn't on. This morning, for example, David Gregory was on and she had some nice open-toe stilettos. And, could you imagine Lauer trying to dance Gangnam Style instead of the decently talented Gregory? Not a chance. To honor Ann Curry, replace Lauer with Gregory!

Today is a joke now. Natalie heats things up regularly but nobody seems to cap her these days. Today is getting to be like the CBS morning news; the weekend version is better than the weekday show.

I think Lester Holt should get the full-time gig. Dude's ten times the broadcaster Lauer is.

I like Lester a whole lot, too, but long term Today Show needs to develop a young talent pool, particularly male, like GMA is doing with Josh Elliott. Ginger Zee is a home run, too, and I'm not sure Dylan Dreyer, lovely as she is, has the personality to match. Looks coupled with personality seem to drive the morning/news format, and ABC just seems to have the winning formula now.
