You have shopped with me through the wee hours of the night, in the mornings, and afternoons. Wow, didn't see that one coming. Judging by the wording in her post and how abrupt her leaving was (no on-air goodbye), her departure must have been on very bad terms. :shock:

HSN has done this kind of thing before.
Kelly Repassy was dispatched with no notice and no explanation or good bye after a decade of service. Kelly Olver just disappeared. On-air people are regularly treated like garbage.

Must be a really crappy place to work. I wonder who's next?

She's wayyyy too nice to work there... you can "just tell" what jerks the mgrs are over there.

She was listed earlier in the week to be on today but they put Kathy in her time slot instead.

Wow.

Didn't lovelovelove her or hate her...I always saw her on the overnights; she wasn't on the daytime until a few months ago. That is truly sad. No on-air goodbye, just up and gone.

If this is HSN policy, that is just as classless as they come. ELEVEN YEARS, and this is all she gets?

If this is her choice (sneaking out the back door w/o making a production number about her goodbye), then God bless her and i wish her well.

Yeah, kind of shady that after 11 years she didn't even get a goodbye show.

Chris Scanlon never got a chance to do a farewell show or anything like that, so I'm not surprised, unfortunately.

While she wasn't one of my favorites, hate to see anyone out of a job and does suck if she was one of your favorites. Unfortunately the way HSN appears to have done her, is just the nature of the business. As we have seen shopping channel hosts come and go all the time without any on air goodbye. The last time Lynne Tucker and Dave King where on air, Lynne said that she would see us tomorrow evening, and Dave King said he was taking a few days off to attend his sons graduation.

I'm not celebrating her departure but honestly... she had no appeal to me. Very plain and mono tone. I think this is a good thing, possibly opening up a position for a potential new person at HSN. HSN management go by the numbers, if she wasn't having enough sales, I'm sure the discussion came up to boot her. It comes with the job, so don't feel sad for her, I'm sure she'll adjust.

I like that idea but good luck getting her to leave Minnesota.
