Wide World of Women

The first round of Sexiest Woman of 2013 is already underway; as the remaining 90 ladies will be knocked down to 60.

We started in March with the preliminary round and back to 120 ladies after last year's monster roster of 150. There was little activity in the first couple of days, but then it stopped due to other stuff going on (including of course that little incident in Boston). The preliminaries ended with whoever had some votes in each category plus other ladies I chose at random to fill out the 30 apiece, and they are:

You all know how the rest of the elimination process goes in the first half. But when the second half starts in the fall with Round 3, the categories merged, and Cheryl Burke joining the remaining field. it'll be a fight to the finish! Top 20 ladies after that meet last year's runner-up Maria Menounos in Round 4, and the remaining ten plus two more from the Second Chance Round go on to the finals where last year's winner Eva Longoria defends her title.

And also starting in Round 3: In addition to web and text voting, for the first time, you could also vote on Facebook as well!

But that's all way ahead of us; for right now, let's focus on Round 1. And as always...you can vote as many times as you like in each category, but PLEASE don't use up all your votes for just one person as they all deserve a chance to advance.
