According to the Daily Mail, Jenny McCarthy is even more unfavorable than Elisabeth was and now McCarthy is set to leave while Hasselbeck is returning back to The View. I hope this is wrong since Elisabeth has been great on Fox and Friends.

That's some pretty clumsy speculation on the part of the Daily Mail.

In the article, they neglect mentioning that Elisabeth has a new job now with Fox, which means
of course a contract. ABC couldn't just swipe her back even if they wanted to.
It would require several unlikely things:
She'd have to want to leave Fox....
And ABC would have to come up with MAJOR dollars, and maybe even a guarantee that she'd take over for Walters...
And even then, she'd have to honor a no-compete clause (which is probably there) and stay off the air for months or longer.

Her relationship with ABC was very strained toward the end. The odds of her going back are slim to none.

that's what I was thinking but it sounded so absurd that they would only publish it if they heard it from a reliable source or the person who wrote that is incompetent.

I doubt it. I believe Hasselbeck in happier at Fox plus ABC could get anyone really to replace Jenny. Leah Remini and Holly Robinson-Peete had talk show experience with the Talk. Plus with Remini, she's on Dancing with the Stars. Just saying.

They could see if Rachel Campos Duffy still wants the job, she lost out to Elisabeth the 1st time around

It was probably just a miscommunication with the source. F&F ratings are up big with Elisabeth as cohost she won't leave.

Mrs. Duffy was passed by twice by the View however I doubt it. Her Husband is an US congressman and I doubt she would accepted even if she wanted it.

although this makes me think there IS something to the McCarthy part.
